These vibrant, swirling rainbow spiral marshmallow pops are an easy, fun, and nostalgic treat perfect for kids’ parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Large jumbo marshmallows
  • 12 ounces (340 grams) white candy melts (Wilton brand recommended)
  • Gel food coloring in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple
  • Wooden lollipop sticks (6-8 inches long)
  • 12 teaspoons vegetable oil (to thin candy melts if needed)
  • Wax paper or parchment paper (for drying)
  • Optional sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Line a large tray or baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
  2. Insert wooden lollipop sticks halfway into each jumbo marshmallow, ensuring they are secure.
  3. Place candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until melted and smooth. Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil if candy is too thick.
  4. Divide melted candy into six small bowls and add gel food coloring to each (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). Stir until fully combined.
  5. Using small squeeze bottles, piping bags, or a small spoon, drizzle each color in thin, diagonal lines onto the marshmallow, overlapping slightly to form a spiral from top to bottom. Rotate the pop as you go.
  6. Place decorated pops on the lined tray and allow candy coating to harden at room temperature for 15-20 minutes or refrigerate for 5-10 minutes to speed up setting.
  7. Before candy sets completely, optionally sprinkle edible glitter or rainbow sprinkles.
  8. Once hardened, serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Notes

Use gel food coloring to avoid thinning candy melts. Work quickly to prevent candy from hardening while decorating. Chill marshmallows before inserting sticks if too soft. Store pops at room temperature in airtight container for up to 3 days. Avoid refrigeration to prevent candy coating from sweating.
