Soft, fluffy pull-apart rolls layered with cheesy ranch-seasoned shredded chicken, perfect for game day or family gatherings. Easy to make and irresistibly flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great!)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (16 ounces, around 10 biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups shredded cooked chicken with 1 packet ranch seasoning mix. Stir in 1/2 cup softened cream cheese until evenly mixed. Add 1 cup shredded cheddar and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Mix gently but thoroughly to combine all flavors.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each biscuit. Cut each biscuit into quarters (or smaller pieces if you want more layers).
  4. Place a few biscuit pieces at the bottom of the baking dish. Spoon a generous amount of the cheesy ranch chicken mixture over them. Add another layer of biscuit pieces on top. Continue layering until all biscuit pieces and filling are used, ending with a top layer of biscuit pieces.
  5. In a small bowl, melt 1/4 cup unsalted butter. Brush the entire top surface of the assembled rolls generously with the melted butter. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning evenly over the top.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the cheese to set a bit. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

If the top browns too quickly, tent loosely with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking. Use shredded chicken that is not too wet to avoid soggy dough. Keep biscuit dough wrapped until ready to cut and layer. Butter helps rolls brown beautifully and stay moist. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. Freeze unbaked rolls for longer storage.
