These crispy salmon bites are air fried to perfection and coated with a sticky, sweet-savory honey garlic glaze. Quick and easy to make, they are perfect for snacking or appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Salmon fillets, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (Japanese-style)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cut salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  4. Press each salmon cube gently into the panko breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  6. Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  7. Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
  8. While salmon cooks, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  9. Transfer cooked salmon bites to a bowl and drizzle glaze over them, tossing gently to coat evenly.
  10. Serve immediately for maximum crispness.

Notes

Pat salmon dry before coating to ensure crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Preheat the air fryer for best results. Flip salmon bites once halfway through cooking to prevent crumb loss. For gluten-free, substitute panko with almond flour or gluten-free crackers. To reheat, air fry at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to maintain crispiness.
