Savory Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders with Pickled Jalapeño

These sliders combine smoky bacon, melty cheddar cheese, juicy beef patties, and tangy pickled jalapeños for a quick and crowd-pleasing appetizer or meal perfect for game day or casual parties.

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 12 small slider buns
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crisped
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 6 slices dill pickles (optional)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 12 small patties, about 2 ounces each. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the bacon in a separate pan until crisp. Drain excess grease and chop or leave whole as preferred.
  3. Place the patties on the hot skillet and cook about 3 minutes per side until a brown crust forms. Avoid pressing down on the patties. When almost done, top each with a slice of cheddar cheese and cover the pan for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  4. Lightly brush the insides of the slider buns with melted butter. Toast them in a skillet, under the broiler, or on a grill for 1-2 minutes until golden and slightly crisp.
  5. Assemble the sliders by spreading mustard and ketchup on the bottom bun. Add the cheeseburger patty, bacon strips, pickled jalapeño slices, and optional onion and dill pickle slices. Top with the bun.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Do not overwork the meat when forming patties to keep them tender. Use a hot pan to sear patties and lock in juices. Drain excess liquid from pickled jalapeños to avoid soggy buns. Cook bacon while forming patties to save time. Toast buns last to keep them warm and crisp. For prep ahead, cook patties and bacon in advance and broil sliders just before serving.
