Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups Chex cereal (mix of Rice and Corn Chex)
  • 2 cups pretzel twists (mini twists preferred)
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans; roasted and unsalted)
  • 1 cup cheese crackers (Goldfish or similar)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (freshly cracked)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, mixed nuts, and cheese crackers. Toss gently to distribute.
  4. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 20-second intervals until just melted. Let cool for about a minute.
  5. Add the Worcestershire sauce, Ranch seasoning, chopped rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne (if using), and salt to the melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Pour the seasoning mixture over the dry ingredients. Fold and toss with a spatula until everything is evenly coated.
  7. Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in a single, even layer.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes at 250°F (120°C).
  9. Remove from the oven and stir the mixture thoroughly, flipping and redistributing.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until deep golden and aromatic.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet (at least 30 minutes).
  12. Once cool, break up any large clusters and transfer to a serving bowl.
