This Cozy Friendsgiving Fall Charcuterie Board is a love letter to a beloved wine bar’s fall cheese board. It’s the ultimate crowd-pleaser that comes together in under 30 minutes, featuring creamy brie, sharp cheddar, sweet apple butter, and spiced nuts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Brie cheese (double or triple cream recommended)
  • 6 oz Sharp white cheddar, sliced
  • 4 oz Goat cheese log
  • 4 oz Prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Soppressata or salami, sliced
  • 1 cup Fresh figs, halved (or dried figs)
  • 1 cup Red grapes, in small clusters
  • 1 large Apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji), sliced and tossed in lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup Spiced pecans (see below or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup Apple butter
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
  • 1 box assorted crackers (buttery rounds and water crackers)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • For the Spiced Pecans:
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Make the spiced pecans: In a small skillet over medium heat, toast the pecan halves for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add the maple syrup, cinnamon, cayenne (if using), and salt. Stir constantly for 1 minute until the nuts are coated and sticky. Spread them on parchment paper to cool.
  2. Prepare the fruits: Wash the grapes and pat them dry. Slice the apple and toss it in a little lemon juice to prevent browning. If using fresh figs, halve them lengthwise. If using dried figs, slice them in half or quarters. Arrange them on a plate.
  3. Slice the cheeses: Leave the brie whole. Slice the sharp cheddar into thin triangles or rectangles. Place the goat cheese log on the board whole, or slice it into rounds. Let the brie come to room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving.
  4. Arrange the meats: Fold the prosciutto slices into loose ribbons. Fan the soppressata slices in a row. Place them on opposite sides of the board.
  5. Assemble the board: Place small bowls on the board for apple butter, honey, and spiced pecans. Place the cheeses in different spots (brie center-left, cheddar top-right, goat cheese bottom-right). Add the meats near the cheeses. Fill in gaps with fruits (grapes in clusters, figs scattered, apple slices fanned out). Fill remaining spaces with toasted baguette slices and crackers. Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the board.
  6. Drizzle and serve: Just before serving, drizzle honey over the brie and goat cheese. Sprinkle a few extra spiced pecans on top. Serve immediately or let sit at room temperature for up to an hour.

Notes

Room temperature cheese is better: take brie and goat cheese out 30 minutes before serving. Don’t overcrowd the board. Toast baguette slices at 375°F for 5 minutes. Balance flavors and textures. Prep components a day in advance.
