These parmesan crusted pork chops are quick, easy, and perfect for fall dinners. With a crispy, golden crust and tender, juicy pork, they’re a crowd-pleaser that even picky eaters will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops, about 1-inch thick
  • 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs, and one with a mixture of Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dredge each pork chop in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into egg wash, letting excess drip off. Press firmly into the Parmesan mixture, coating all sides. Place on a clean plate.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and butter, letting the butter melt and foam.
  5. Place the breaded pork chops in the skillet without overcrowding. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until deep golden brown. Flip and cook another 4-5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Transfer pork chops to a cutting board or wire rack and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-coat the pork chops by dipping them back into the egg wash and Parmesan mixture. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
