These no-bake dessert bars feature a buttery cookie crust, a smooth cream cheese layer, and a fudgy chocolate topping, decorated like a football field. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos, filling included)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches of overhang on the long sides.
  2. Crush the 24 chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or zip-top bag. In a medium bowl, combine the crumbs with 5 tablespoons melted butter until the mixture looks like wet sand.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan using the bottom of a measuring cup or flat glass. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat 2 cups heavy whipping cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside in the fridge.
  5. In another large bowl, beat 16 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. If using green food coloring, add a drop or two and beat until evenly distributed.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture in thirds, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust in an even layer. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. When the cream layer is set, combine 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
  9. Pour the melted chocolate over the cream layer and spread evenly. Return to the fridge for 30 minutes until firm.
  10. Melt 1/4 cup white chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon coconut oil in the microwave. Stir until smooth. Transfer to a small piping bag or zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
  11. Once the chocolate topping is firm, pipe yard lines across the width of the pan every inch or so. Pipe two small goal posts at one end. Optionally, pipe a small football shape in the center.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the white chocolate set. Use the parchment overhang to lift the entire block out of the pan. Slice into squares with a sharp knife, wiping the blade clean between cuts.

Notes

Room temperature cream cheese is essential for a smooth texture. Press the crust firmly to prevent crumbling. Chill each layer thoroughly for clean cuts. For gluten-free, use gluten-free chocolate cookies. For dairy-free, use plant-based alternatives.
