A simple, refreshing frozen yogurt bark combining creamy Greek yogurt, sweet-tart berries, and crunchy granola for a light and satisfying snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (475 ml) plain Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste or skip for tangier bark)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups (150225 g) mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries; fresh or frozen)
  • ¾ cup (90 g) crunchy granola with nuts and seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips or shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups (475 ml) of plain Greek yogurt with 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Line a 9″x13″ (23×33 cm) baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  3. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the lined sheet and spread evenly to about ¼-inch (6 mm) thickness using a spatula or spoon, taking about 3 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle 1 to 1 ½ cups (150-225 g) mixed berries evenly over the yogurt, pressing lightly to help them stick.
  5. Sprinkle ¾ cup (90 g) crunchy granola over the top, followed by optional chia seeds or dark chocolate chips if desired, taking 2-3 minutes.
  6. Freeze uncovered for at least 3 hours or until completely firm. Overnight freezing works well for prep ahead.
  7. Once frozen, lift the bark out using the parchment paper and break into rustic pieces with hands or a sharp knife.
  8. Store pieces in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Use thick Greek yogurt for creamier bark and avoid watery texture. Adjust sweetness to taste. Press toppings lightly into yogurt to help them stick. Freeze at 0°F (-18°C) or colder. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks. For crisper granola, toast briefly before adding. Dairy-free versions can use thick coconut or almond milk yogurt. Granola can be replaced with nuts or seeds for gluten-free or different crunch.
