A vibrant and easy-to-assemble charcuterie board featuring a fresh mix of red, white, and blue berries paired with creamy cheeses and crunchy crackers, perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Sharp cheddar cheese, sliced or cubed
  • Soft goat cheese log, sliced or crumbled
  • Blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • Fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Optional: fresh cherries or blackberries
  • Assorted crackers and baguette slices (Carr’s Table Water Crackers preferred)
  • Raw almonds or pecans
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves
  • Honey or balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Rinse all berries gently under cool water and pat dry with a paper towel. Hull and halve the strawberries; keep blueberries and raspberries whole.
  2. Slice the sharp cheddar into bite-sized cubes or thin slices. Slice or crumble the goat cheese log. Crumble blue cheese if using. Arrange cheeses on the board with space between types.
  3. Fan out crackers and baguette slices around the cheeses, tucking some under cheeses and berries for layering.
  4. Scatter raw almonds or pecans into small clusters on the board. Tuck fresh mint or basil leaves between cheeses and berries.
  5. Drizzle honey or balsamic glaze lightly over the cheeses and berries just before serving.
  6. Fill any gaps with extra berries or herbs to balance the visual appeal.

Notes

Prep cheeses and wash berries up to a day ahead but assemble just before serving to keep fresh. Avoid mixing wet and dry items closely to prevent sogginess. Drizzle honey or glaze last minute to avoid mess. Can add meats like prosciutto or salami for savory variation. Substitute nuts with seeds for allergies. Use gluten-free crackers and dairy-free cheeses to adapt diet.
