A simple, colorful, and refreshing snack featuring strawberries, blueberries, and marshmallows on skewers served with a creamy honey yogurt dip. Perfect for summer parties and quick healthy snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh strawberries – hulled and halved if large
  • Fresh blueberries – washed and dried
  • Mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (raw or wildflower)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Wooden skewers (about 6-inch length)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the strawberries and blueberries under cold water and pat dry carefully with a kitchen towel. Hull the strawberries by removing the green leafy tops and cut larger ones in half so each piece is bite-sized. Discard any soft or mushy blueberries.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup (240 ml) of Greek yogurt with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of honey and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vanilla extract. Stir gently until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Take a wooden skewer and thread the fruit and marshmallows alternately: one strawberry half, one mini marshmallow, and a few blueberries. Continue until the skewer is filled, leaving about an inch at the bottom for holding. Repeat with all skewers.
  4. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving. The dip is best served cold but can be left out for about 30 minutes during a party.
  5. Dip each skewer into the honey yogurt dip and enjoy.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers in water for 10-15 minutes if grilling or to prevent burning. Use fresh, ripe fruit for best texture and flavor. Cut strawberries small enough for kids to avoid choking hazards. The dip can be made vegan by substituting Greek yogurt with plant-based yogurt and honey with maple syrup or agave nectar. Assemble skewers ahead but add dip just before serving to prevent sogginess.
