A beautifully arranged charcuterie board for two, featuring a variety of cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments. Perfect for a cozy, stress-free date night that feels special without the fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz soft-ripened cheese (like Brie or Camembert)
  • 4 oz aged cheese (like Aged Gouda or Manchego)
  • 2 oz blue cheese (like Gorgonzola or Roquefort)
  • 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 3 oz salami (like Genoa or Soppressata)
  • 1/3 cup nuts (like Marcona Almonds or Candied Walnuts)
  • 1/3 cup dried fruit (like Dried Figs or Apricots)
  • 1/4 cup fresh fruit (like Red Grapes or Sliced Apple)
  • 2 tbsp honey or fig jam
  • 1 small baguette or a box of quality crackers
  • Optional: dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • Optional: olives (Castelvetrano or Kalamata)
  • Optional: fresh herbs (like Rosemary or Thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Take cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to bring to room temperature. Wash and dry grapes and apple. Slice baguette into thin rounds.
  2. Place small bowls or ramekins on the board for honey, jam, and olives to create anchor points.
  3. Arrange the three cheeses in different areas of the board, creating visual triangles.
  4. Fold prosciutto slices loosely or roll into small roses. Fan out salami slices in a line or semi-circle. Place meats near complementary cheeses.
  5. Fill in empty spaces with nuts, dried fruit, and fresh fruit, scattering them around the cheeses and meats.
  6. Fan out baguette slices in one area and pile crackers in another. Tuck a few crackers between other ingredients for visual interest.
  7. Drizzle honey over brie or place in its bowl. Garnish with fresh herb sprigs. Adjust any bare spots with extra nuts or fruit. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let cheeses come to room temperature for best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the board; leave space for easy picking. Overlap ingredients for a sense of abundance. Prep ingredients ahead but assemble no more than an hour before serving.
