A quick and easy Halloween punch with a spooky ice ring that’s perfect for parties. This non-alcoholic crowd-pleaser combines cranberry, orange, and pineapple juices with ginger ale for a fizzy, fruity treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened or cocktail blend)
  • 2 cups orange juice (no added sugar preferred)
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 4 cups ginger ale (chilled)
  • 1 cup sparkling water (plain or lemon-flavored)
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
  • Gummy eyeballs or plastic spider rings (food-safe, for ice ring)
  • Optional: 1-2 cups vodka or white rum (for adult version)

Instructions

  1. Make the spooky ice ring (do this the night before or at least 6 hours ahead). Arrange gummy eyeballs and plastic spider rings in the bottom of a bundt pan. Add a single layer of frozen cranberries and a few citrus slices. Pour in about 1 cup of water or cranberry juice to cover the decorations. Freeze for 2-3 hours until solid. Add more water or juice to fill the pan, then freeze completely, ideally overnight.
  2. Mix the juice base. In a large pitcher, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Stir well. If adding alcohol, stir it in now. This mixture can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
  3. Chill everything. Ensure ginger ale and sparkling water are ice-cold.
  4. Assemble the punch. Just before serving, pour the juice mixture into a punch bowl or dispenser. Gently pour in the ginger ale and sparkling water. Stir slowly to combine.
  5. Add the ice ring. Run the outside of the bundt pan under warm water for about 10 seconds to loosen the ice ring. Invert onto a baking sheet, then carefully slide into the punch bowl. It should float with decorations facing up.
  6. Garnish and serve. Float remaining citrus slices and frozen cranberries on top. Ladle into cups, ensuring each glass gets a few berries and a slice of fruit.

Notes

Layer the ice ring properly to keep decorations visible. Don’t over-stir to preserve carbonation. The ice ring keeps punch cold for 2-3 hours. For a kid-friendly version, use only gummy candies and fruit in the ice ring. Leftover punch can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days, but carbonation will fade.
