Tender, flaky salmon with a glossy, caramelized honey garlic glaze, roasted alongside perfectly charred broccoli on a single sheet pan. This quick and easy 30-minute dinner is a weeknight lifesaver that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 large heads broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Position a rack in the middle of the oven. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
  2. Wash and dry the broccoli thoroughly. Cut into florets about 1 to 1.5 inches in size. Toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil, a generous pinch of salt, and a few cracks of black pepper. Spread on one half of the prepared sheet pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
  4. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place skin-side down on the empty half of the sheet pan. If fillets have different thicknesses, tuck the thinner ends under for even cooking.
  5. Pour about two-thirds of the glaze over the salmon fillets, using a brush or spoon to spread evenly. Drizzle the remaining glaze over the broccoli.
  6. Roast for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the broccoli is tender and charred in spots.
  7. Optional: Switch the oven to broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra caramelization. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry for the best glaze adhesion. Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure proper roasting. Watch the broiler carefully to avoid burning. Let salmon rest before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven or air fryer.
