A fun and easy turkey-shaped charcuterie board made with kid-friendly snacks like cheese, crackers, pepperoni, and fruit. Perfect for Thanksgiving parties, school events, or any gathering where you want to impress without stress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8–10 slices provolone or cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 1 small bowl ranch dressing or hummus
  • 1 bag pepperoni slices (about 30 slices)
  • 1 bag baby carrots (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 1 cup cheese cubes (cheddar or Colby Jack)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup Goldfish crackers
  • 1 cup apple slices
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • Fresh parsley or rosemary (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the board (5 minutes): Wash hands and gather all ingredients. Line cutting board with parchment paper. Place small bowl of ranch dressing or hummus in the center of the board.
  2. Cut the turkey body (5 minutes): Using a turkey-shaped cookie cutter, press firmly into cheese slices to create turkey shapes. Arrange 8-10 cheese shapes around the dipping bowl, overlapping slightly to form a rounded body.
  3. Create the feathers (10 minutes): Arrange pepperoni slices in a fan pattern around the back of the turkey body. Place baby carrots between pepperoni slices, pointing outward. Add cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and cheese cubes in a colorful mosaic pattern.
  4. Add the tail feathers (5 minutes): Fill the inner circle of the feather fan with Goldfish crackers. Sprinkle dried cranberries and mini marshmallows on top. Arrange apple slices in a semi-circle near the top of the tail.
  5. Assemble the face (5 minutes): Use two red grapes for eyes on the cheese body. Place a single grape or small piece of red bell pepper below the eyes for the wattle. Use a small triangle of cheese or a pretzel stick for the beak.
  6. Fill in the gaps (5 minutes): Fill any empty spaces with extra crackers, grapes, or pretzel sticks to make the board look abundant.
  7. Final touches (5 minutes): Add fresh parsley or rosemary around edges if desired. Serve immediately or cover loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Don’t overthink feather placement—kids prefer a chaotic, colorful look. Spray cookie cutter with cooking spray to prevent cheese from tearing. Add fresh fruit and veggies last to prevent sogginess. For transport, layer heavier items on bottom. Can be assembled up to 2 hours in advance; add apples and marshmallows just before serving.
